Hot Property: Y’all know that Ben has been backin’ it for fellow south Londoner Speech Debelle for a while now….well, last night my girl became the first female act in seven years to take home the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. Chatting to Lauren Laverne after her win Speech said “I don’t really get emotional, but I’m emotional!”. The whole of the ceremony can be seen on BBC1 on Friday 11th September at 2340.
